Three of our girls just happened to be sitting at a campsite,

and one of our chaperones snapped a picture.

The result?

An image that sums up our purpose perfectly.

Our Mission: To let God's light Shine, through us, to the World.

God's Promise: If we let it...

         Buffalo Christian Church

Why?

         To dig into the word of God
                     with girls your own age.

Are you struggling with appearance?
                 Are you fighting peer pressure?
Are there days you just don't feel worthy?
                 Guess what...
                       ...you're not alone....

   Having a hard time
figuring out just who you are?
                       Ever wonder how you can
                   be a Christian at school?
            Think you're too young to let your
                                      light shine?
   Won der why your Bible and
            your magazines don't mesh?

      Breathe a little deeper.
                 Every teenage girl deals with
                                            these things,
               which is why we would LOVE
                     (Capital L-O-V-E)
for you to join us as we laugh, love, and
          learn our way through these tough
                              issues together.

"You are the light of the world.
A city on a hill cannot be hidden;
nor does anyone light a lamp
and put it under a basket,
but on the lampstand,
and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Let your light shine before men
in such a way that they
may see your good works,
and glorify your Father
who is in heaven."

   Now, we know this verse talks about
                                     "lamps,"
             but we here at Buffalo decided to
                                      jazz it up a bit.
               As teenagers
       (ten times cooler than our parents),
we needed a name that was a bit more...
                                       ...modern.
           Had a bit more...

...Pizzazz!

    Give it a teenager twist, right?
         What better name than
                         Glowsticks!

It's up to you to let your light shine for others to notice. How will they see Christ but through you?

Don't hide your light.

Let it shine!
